This is the 2nd edition. No less than 40 incredible projects with fast and easy cutting using a triangle ruler. The book has a you can design it section to help you create your own designs. The book includes a good introduction with basics, fabrics, yardage, tools and block making. The book is divided into Cutting; Block Making; Quilt Projects; Borders and Finishing; Techniques; Tips; Create Your Own Design and Templates. This book contains fabulous quilts, excellent charts and diagrams and is easy to use. I would say it is not for absolute beginners. You need to follow the cutting directions at the beginning of the book. The designs show excellent colour choices and the patterns and shapes achieved are jaw-dropping. I love Dawn Star a kaleidoscope hexagon; Masks is a clever design; Will o Wisp is visually stunning whilst Colorado Sunset is just knockout and the design I would have chosen for the front cover. I like all the quilts in this book.
