Welcome to Creative Spark, the online learning platform for craft enthusiasts, brought to you by C&T Publishing! Before submitting a proposal, we’d love to share what makes a course successful and what you can expect as an instructor.

At Creative Spark, we provide seamless platform management and marketing support so you can focus on creating an engaging and dynamic course. 

We handle platform management – From course landing pages and polished descriptions to course builder support, pre-launch reviews, customer support, and payment management.

Additionally, we offer timely monthly payouts, high-impact social media ads, organic promotions, and email marketing campaigns designed to attract eager students to your courses.

How We Support You

Our in-house course builders are here to help transform your idea into a compelling class. With Creative Spark, you have complete control over how you deliver your course, including the level of student interaction and community engagement. Best of all, our generous revenue share model ensures your hard work pays off.

What You Commit To

Creating an online course requires dedication, even if you’re a seasoned instructor. Developing a high-quality course takes time, planning, and thoughtful execution. By submitting a proposal, you agree to the following:

  • Time Commitment – Building a course typically requires 20–40 hours of work, including planning, recording, and editing your content.
  • Course Content Creation – You will be responsible for:
  • Intellectual Property Rights – You retain ownership of your content.
  • Revenue Share Model – Compensation is based on your level of involvement:
  • Community Engagement – As the instructor, you manage all course discussions as outlined in the contract.

Publish a Book with C&T Publishing

Thank you for your interest in publishing a book with us! C&T Publishing is always excited to review new work and techniques in quilting, fiber arts, craft sewing, general sewing, and fabric-based mixed media. We appreciate the opportunity to consider your work.

Submission Process:

We encourage you to submit your proposal via email. Proposals submitted electronically can be reviewed more quickly. Your submission must include the following:

  • Book Proposal Questionnaire: Click to download a [Word Doc]
  • Complete Table of Contents: A structured breakdown of your book’s chapters.
  • Sample Writing & Images: Include project photos, process visuals, or sketches of all proposed projects.

If your proposal advances in our review process, we may request additional materials.

Important Notes:

  • For your proposal to have the best opportunity for success, please take some time to be sure your proposal is complete. Bear in mind that your attention to detail and accuracy in following our guidelines is our first impression. We appreciate the work it takes to get a proposal to us, and we're glad to answer any questions about the process.
  • Simultaneous submissions to multiple publishers are discouraged, but if you do submit elsewhere, please notify us.

Your proposal is important to us, and we review each thoroughly. Please allow 8-10 weeks for our review process.

Develop a New Product (Non-Book)

Thank you for your interest in developing a product with us! We are looking for innovative ideas in quilting, fiber arts, needle arts, mixed media, and papercrafts.

Submission Process:

We encourage you to submit your proposal via email. Your submission must include the following:

  • Cover Letter: Introduce your product concept, its unique features, and its intended audience.
  • New Product Questionnaire: Click to download a [Word Doc] or [PDF].
  • Product Images or Samples: High-quality photos or digital renderings of your product.

If your proposal advances in our review process, we may request additional materials or a physical sample.

Important Notes:

  • We review all submissions carefully. Please allow 8-12 weeks for our process.
  • Our sales distribution includes bookstores, quilt shops, and craft supply stores.
  • If you have physical samples to send, please contact us for mailing instructions.
