Contest and Show Submissions

Thank you for your interest in showcasing something you made using one of our books!

If you plan to enter a contest or display a piece based on patterns or designs from our publications, this is considered a permissible use. To comply with our copyright guidelines, please credit the original design source on a label attached to your work and in any related submission paperwork. Example:

Design by [Author/Designer Name] from [Book Title], published by C&T Publishing.

Written permission from C&T Publishing is not required. However, if a show organizer requests it, you may print this document to meet their requirements.

Requests will be sent to Valerie Palacios, Publicity Manager.

Permission is granted for one-time use in the stated medium. Full credit must be given to the original source. If further usage is required, a new request must be submitted.

Permission Requests

Designs in our publications may only be used for personal projects or gifts and may not be used for commercial purposes.

Exception: If you are creating an item for a non-profit or charity sale, you may use a pattern with proper credit:
Design by [Author/Designer Name] from [Book Title], published by C&T Publishing.
Only one item may be created from a specific pattern.

To request permission to reproduce patterns or other materials, please include:

Title of Publication & Author
Materials Needed (details, page numbers, illustrations, pattern pages, etc.)
Name of Publication & Issue Number (where the project will appear)
Publication / Sale Date (when the project will be published)
