Fabric Requirements

Background Fabrics

12 or more ½ yard cuts for the background squares and side setting triangles. I used 20 different background fabrics but how many you need will depends on how many colors are in your quilt. My background fabricswere an assortment from Jennifer Sampou’s SKY ombré collections.

Floral Fabrics for Orange Peels

100 rectangles 5” X 11” (Many of my orange peels were fussy cut so yardage is great, too!)

Fusible Web (for fusible appliqué)

8 yards of 18” wide fusible web of choice, like Steam-A-Seam II Lite, Wonder Under, Heat and Bond, etc.

Backing and Binding

4⅓ yards backing fabric
