Your 50-state flower quilt journey begins with a warm welcome in Week 1—an overview video, suggested color palette, and yardage recommendations to help you plan your year with ease. From Week 2 on, each week unlocks a brand-new 12" finished quilt block inspired by the official flower of one of the 50 U.S. states. The bonus block for Washington, D.C. will drop the last week, along with the “finishing” video. Each downloadable pattern includes cutting instructions for rotary cutters and AccuQuilt dies, along with templates when needed. Once your fabric is cut, Mary Anne guides you through the full piecing process for each block with close-up video and clear commentary.

Supplies You'll Need

For this project, you’ll need basic quilting tools such as a rotary cutter and mat, pins and clips, rulers, and your preferred sewing notions. A fabric chart is included in the course to help you stay organized as you work through each block. If you choose to use an AccuQuilt machine, the following Qube sizes are used: 4", 6", 8", 9", 10", and 12".
