    Bestselling author Shelley Cavanna is a textile and quilt pattern designer and the owner of the Cora's Quilts pattern company. She makes her home near Sacramento, CA, with her husband, their two sons, and their menace of a Chiweenie named Penny. From an obsession with modern, mosaic-inspired quilts to her latest passion for cross-stitch and needlework, she makes it her mission to turn exquisite designs into approachable projects for quilters of all styles and skill levels, living up to her design mantra: Stunning quilts made simple! When she's not in the studio, Shelley can be found curled up in her favorite chair, completely lost in her latest cross-stitch project and audiobook or true-crime podcasts. She loves exploring the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains, cheering on the Sac Republic Football Club on summer Saturday nights, and spending family time playing silly board games and cozy farming video games.
