Useful book but not perfect
This book has more ideas than I could possibly think up on my own! I like the fact that the author shows how to combine ruler work designs with free-motion fillers. I also like the spiral binding that allows the book to lie flat, allowing for easier reference when trying some of these designs. I recently took a ruler work class using Westalee rulers for my domestic machine, so I am eager to try this technique on my quilts. I gave the book 4 stars instead of 5 because the author seemed to have a preference for Bernina rulers, and many of her designs seem to require those rulers as she does not show rulers by other manufacturers that can be used for those designs. But overall, this is was a worthwhile purchase and will inspire me to try more ruler work.
