Class Description: This is a fun workshop that can be taken by any level of student. They will learn how to work from an original photograph to develop a number of designs for an art quilt or fiber collage. They will develop a wide knowledge of the basics of good design. They will learn an easy, straightforward method of construction that requires neither templates nor a full size cartoon. Depending on the length of the workshop, they should leave with at least one small quilt cut out and pinned plus several designs ready to go as well as loads of new knowledge! The best thing is that they’ll be able to repeat the whole process by themselves in future.
