• Craft polyester felt or other stable backing cut to 11x14 plus another piece size of bird.(I use felt from Threadart.com )
• Double sided fuse (I use Misty fuse and Pellon Wonder Under 805)
• Fabric scraps in colors to coordinate or contrast with your bird.
• Other ephemera such a lace, buttons, rickrack, and paper images like sheet music…
• Fluid matte medium to fray check edges and a small brush (only needed if fussy cutting bird)
• Sewing machine and thread – free motion foot if fussy cutting bird
• Iron and board plus parchment paper or Teflon ironing sheet
• Optional #8 pearl cotton and top stitch machine needle.
