Sue Beevers

Sue Beevers is a lifelong creative and adventurer. Her creativity extends into art and cello. She started as a weaver, dyer, and spinner, which she still loves. The majority of her time is spent quilting, weaving, knitting/crocheting, drawing, and painting. Her biggest kick in life is watching people take something they already know and look at it differently—it’s what she dearly loves. Sue’s life also revolves around being outside. Her primary interest is in the world's natural cycles—seasonal changes and the processes of growing things. Sue is a cellist and teaches cello at Hamilton College in Upstate New York. Every day, Sue is joyfully immersed in fibers, art and music. She’s been married to her husband, David, for more than 50 years. She has two grown children and two grandchildren. She teaches quilting, weaving, and other fiber arts and has designed multiple fabric lines for Northcott. Sue's pattern company is Trillium Ridge Quilt Patterns.
