Shirley Hudson is a designer for Hudson’s Holidays Designs. She is a mom, wife, crafter, designer, cat lover, quilter, and artist. Designing is her biggest passion. Shirley’s style is cheerful, sweet, and girly with vintage appeal. Since 1998, she has created more than four hundred patterns for embroidery, home decor, punch needle, prims, quilts, and projects for the holidays. When she became a mom, Shirley decided to stay home to care for her baby, but she needed to contribute financially. Knowing time was precious, she decided to design sewing patterns so that she could make one item and sell the pattern forever. This was perfect timing for internet sales around the world, not just local sales. Shirley has been featured in more than eighty magazines and sells her designs worldwide through distributors and online sites. She has been featured on many blogs, designed for Deflecto (a craft solution company), and creates digital art and paints as well. To keep customers up to date, she blogs and sends out newsletters. She gives out freebies, offers design ideas, and shares personal stories. She loves connecting on her website, Facebook, and Instagram and sells on many sites, including Etsy, Patternmart, and eBay. Fabric design is one of her newest endeavors. She lives in Spokane Valley, WA.
