Sabina Gibson is a textile artist known for her soft sculptured animals. Telling stories through clever photography, she brings her animal characters to life in sweet handmade settings reminiscent of traditional stop-motion animations from her childhood. This earned her a large social media following, which led to many retail opportunities. In addition to her original art, she illustrates children’s books and has licensed and designed many products for companies like Crate & Barrel Kids, Anthropologie & Mattel. She is currently represented at the Catbird Literary Agency in NYC with 9 children’s book titles. Sabina spends all her time creating; when she’s not in the studio, she can be found in her flower gardens, making bouquets for her roadside stand. She currently resides in the countryside of Quebec, Canada with her two young boys and artist husband.
