Melinda graduated from University of California, Davis (Bachelor’s), and California State University, Sacramento (Master’s), and lives in Northern California with her husband, teenage son, and four dogs (three German Shorthaired Pointers—Mattie, Saxum, and Turley—and an English bulldog, Lucy).  She works a full-time day job to pay for her fabric habit and to buy dog food. In her spare time, she can be found discovering new inspiration for her textile arts and quilts, and making a boutique wine.
