Marie-Christine discovered patchwork while living in Berkeley, California in 1976. She went from being an elementary school teacher to focusing exclusively on quilts. She is in charge of organizing all the workshops at Le Rouvray, and is the European liaison for the European Quilt Expo, working for Quilts, Inc. in Houston. Besides being a teacher and a textile artist, she specializes in the history of the famous toile de Jouy. She enjoys cooking and has a special interest in making people happy, whether in front of a quilt or around a table. When she is not touring the world, she lives outside Paris with her husband.
