    Jera Brandvig

    Jera Brandvig (aka QuiltingintheRain) lives in a cozy home in the rainy city of Seattle, Washington, with her two boys and wonderful husband. After having her first son, she took a break from the biotech industry to raise her children. During that time, her creative side took over and she wrote two best-selling books, Quilt As-You-Go Made Modern and Quilt As-You-Go Made Vintage. She also designed fabric for Lecien Fabrics. Jera has returned to biotech doing clinical research. However, quilting will always be her true passion as she still quilts and now designs fabric for Maywood Studios.
