    Jenny Bolhofner

Jenny Bolhofner is a self-taught embroiderer and the artist behind Olive This Felt. She won a coloring contest at a car dealership when she was eight years old, which secured her future as an artist. Jenny went on to get a BFA in printmaking and drawing at Murray State University in 2010. Four years later, she established her felt business out of a desire to continue making art while also becoming a stay-at-home mom. Jenny’s work is inspired by her observations of the world around her and the translation of those experiences through the layering and experimentation with felt and thread. She enjoys testing the limits of fiber art beyond the traditional realm of two-dimensionality. Jenny has over ten years of experience as a fiber artist, selling her work around the world. Her work has been featured on Canvas Rebel and Create Whimsy. She has published patterns and tutorials with Benzie Design and the DHG Shop, and often teaches workshops at a local art house. She currently resides in Milford, OH, with her husband and two daughters, who are her biggest supporters, but who also think she has too many craft supplies. You can find her work on Instagram @olivethisfelt and on her website https://www.olivethisfelt.com/
