    Jennifer Rapacki

Jennifer Rapacki is a tech-savvy fiber artist whose career bridges the worlds of computer technology and creative textile arts. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, she launched her career during the PC revolution and developed deep expertise across multiple computer platforms. A lifelong sewist, Jennifer began with garment making and later embraced quilting as a creative outlet. In 2008, her two passions merged when she began printing custom fabric at home, sparking a new chapter in her quilting journey. This discovery led to popular lectures and workshops on topics like inkjet fabric printing, digital quilt design, and using modern tools like Electric Quilt, Photoshop Elements, and the Frax app. Since 2010, Jennifer has presented her lecture "Modern Technology for Quilters" to guilds across the country, inspiring quilters to embrace digital tools. She also teaches hands-on classes, including the artful creation of unique fabric using raw-edge strips, her innovative Peekaboo Fabric Reverse Appliqué technique (inspired by couture buttonholes), and the timeless art of Tatting. Jennifer is passionate about empowering quilters of all skill levels to explore the creative possibilities at the intersection of technology and tradition.
