Holly Knott

    Holly Knott

Holly Knott (Diane's daughter) is a Finger Lakes, New York, artist who could never call just one medium her own. After leaving behind her seventeen-year career as an interactive systems designer and usability testing specialist in New Jersey, she now works full time in a wide variety of media including art quilting, photography, painting, and website and graphic design. Inspiration for her work comes from her surroundings, including her love of architecture old and new, rural landscapes, and nature in all forms. She feels that being involved in various art forms can only enhance an artist's work because they're all interconnected. Her painterly art quilts of landscape, nature, and architectural scenes are exhibited in juried quilt and art shows nationwide, have won awards, and are sold in local shops and arts centers. Her artwork has appeared in several publications, including Quilting Arts Magazine and in a 2007 calendar of or works by women artists. She has also been a contributing writer to Quilting Arts Magazine. Holly lives with her husband, Paul Bokinz, and their two cats on a small "farmette" in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York.
