Hilarie Dayton has been obsessed with fashion and sewing since she was a young child. She would save up money and beg her mother to drive her to a fabric store that had just the right trim to complete the vision of whatever she had come up with. She knows the history of the petticoat, and she gets excited about all of the different types of cashmere. Now Hilarie has a couple of kids who also love to make things. They wanted to learn how to make everything, and she found that many of their friends did, too. Their interests and inclinations spoke to her. As more and more kids asked to come over and sew with her family, creating Little Stitch Studio seemed a natural progression.
