    Crystal Mills lives in Blaine, Washington, which is at the northern end of Interstate 5, almost in Canada. She is a retired mathematics teacher and textbook editor. She loves to quilt and design wearable art. She became interested in origami when she was teaching high school mathematics. In her job as an editor, she edited an origami book, and after she retired, she co-authored Unfolding the Mathematics of Origami Boxes with Arnold Tubis. Crystal and Arnold met at an origami convention in San Diego. Crystal enjoys traveling and continues to present origami workshops for teachers throughout the country. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge of origami with fabric enthusiasts.
