While attending a Kansas City Quit Show in the early 1990s, Connie Chunn found reprints of the Ladies’ Art Company (LAC) catalogs and patterns at one of the vendor booths. “This is interesting,” she thought to herself. Somehow she hadn’t realized that St. Louis, Missouri, was a focal point for quilt pattern businesses in the first half of the 20th century. That single thought changed the whole direction of her life. After almost ten years of research, she is glad the opportunity has come for her to share a bit of her knowledge with everyone.
