Bethany Pease Sheets has been stitching since she was a teen, beginning in her mother’s quilt shop. While working there she discovered her love of quilting. By age 19, she had taken a serious interest in learning how to longarm quilt and was tutored by her very talented mother, who is her best friend and quilt coach. She now runs a thriving longarm quilting business and doodles new quilting designs every chance she gets. She gets ideas for her designs from the world around her. She says, “Ideas pop up above, beside, and underneath me! I see ideas in the design in my aunt’s dress, the pattern of the bark on a tree, and the swirls on a fancy cake.” She lives in the greater Raleigh area in North Carolina.
