Use and Enjoy: Step-by-Step Free-Motion Quilting
Posted by Teresa Stroin on Feb 25th 2016
Hi! I'm the developmental editor for Step-by-Step Free-Motion Quilting. Of course, I was excited to be working on another book with Christina Cameli! I worked on her first book. She’s easy to get along with, a great writer, and extremely creative. The topic of this her latest book interested me too: quilting designs for any sewing machine whether domestic or longarm. I’m always trying to figure out how to quilt my finished projects. Beautiful designs like Christina’s are exactly what I need. Plus, in this book, she shows instructional diagrams as step-by-step guides to making each design. This made me sure that this would be a book that I would use in my personal life, not only enjoy in my professional one. The coup de grace, though? That was receiving Christina’s quilted samples in the mail! They are fabulous. Anytime anyone walked by my desk while I had the samples out, they would stop and comment. Things like, “Ooooooooh,” and “Aaaaaaaaah,” and “Wow, who made those?”
Here’s a photo of one so you’ll know exactly what I mean.
