Unbelievable Patterns from GE Designs

When I started the technical edit of Strip Your Stash by Gudrun Erla, I read through all the projects with only the finished quilt photos to look at.
Who would guess that all these quilts can be made with precut 2 1/2’˝ strips and just 1 background fabric? We all have jelly rolls we bought because we loved the fabrics, and, let's face it, they’re just cute! Now Gudrun Erla gives you 12 patterns for jelly roll quilts, each one in sizes from baby to bed, to put all those jelly rolls to good use.
Even better, Gudrun teaches you the best way to cut your stash into even more usable 2 1/2’˝ strips and get sewing. Her experience designing her GE Designs quilt patterns results in some great explanations and examples of how she chooses and combines colors and prints for unusual but beautiful results.
After a fun time choosing (fondling) precut strips from your stash and finding 1 other great player, there’s some background cutting, and then you’re right into sewing blocks.
Putting blocks together quickly is a great motivator to finish even more quilts, because we’re so jazzed by a quick start we can’t wait to seeing the entire quilt come together.
