Note from Rulerwork Quilting Idea Book:
Do you have a sewing friend who hates free-motion quilting? Chances are that they might like rulerwork (a lot of piecers do). One day they’ll decide to fill in part of those rulerwork triangles or diamonds with a little dense quilting to make other areas pop, and ... guess what ... they will be free-motion quilting!

Note from Foolproof Walking-Foot Quilting Designs:
I use Con-Tact Brand Self-Adhesive Creative Covering shelf paper for templates. You can use any brand as long as it is a solid color (not a pattern), has a paper backing you can draw on, and removes easily. You should be able to reuse your templates many times.
Reminder—don’t iron the shelf paper!
Hint for working with monofilament from Foolproof Machine Quilting:
It’s imperative that there is no lint buildup under the needle in the feed dogs or in the bobbin case area. Clean it out!
One Line at a Time, Encore: 35 New Geometric Machine-Quilting Designs
Note from One Line at Time, Encore:
While working with the geometric designs, the quilting may compact the quilt sandwich somewhat. You may need to pull the fabric a bit or squish the template together to make it fit.
