Pincushions Galore!

Part of our new Make booklet series, Make Pincushions is all about elevating the humble pincushion. Most quilters and sewists have at least two (or three, or five...) so why wouldn't you want them to bring a smile to your face? And no matter what your style, you're sure to find a pincushion you love in this booklet—there's pincushions from 12 different designers! The pincushions are divided into three categories—pieced, 3-D, and embroidered—but even within categories there's a huge variety.
For example, both of these are in the pieced pincushions section:
The super sweet, girly on one the left is the Log Cabin Pincushion from Alexia Marcelle Abegg, while the graphic one on the right is the Boxy Pincushion from Virginia Lindsay.
Or look at these two from the 3-D section:
That delicious looking Hot Fudge Sundae Pincushion was made by Jessica Peck (yum!); the Elephant Sewing Caddy by Jill Hamor is not just a pincushion but a full sewing set!
And even the embroidered pincushions span a range of styles:
Left is the Three Pretty Pincushions by Leanne Beasley and right is the New York Taxi Pincushion by Aneela Hoey.
Which pincushion would you most like to make?
