Masterpiece appliqué quilt

A sojourn in the Tiputini Biodiversity Research Station deep in the heart of the Amazon rainforest left biologist Felicia Brenoe in awe of the beauty and complexity of the plants and animals around her. She was especially captivated by the variety of butterflies and chose to celebrate them in the masterpiece appliqué quilt shown on the front cover of her book. All the instructions and patterns to make it are included in the book and the pull-out pattern sheets. In addition, Felicia has developed seven other projects using variations o f the butterfly shapes. They include a cushion, placemats, wallhangings, and several other bed quilts. She also provides instructions for raw-edge appliqué by machine, the appliqué method she use for her projects.
