Useful book for textile artists

Ribbonwork is stitching a length of ribbon with needle and thread to form a flower, leaf or other design, as a separate individual unit that can be used in wearable art or wall hangings. In this book the author, an American textile artist specialising in wearable art, explains how to do this. After the introductory chapters about materials and techniques there are nine chapters filled with detailed instructions to make flowers, leaves and garden accessories, ranging from very simple to quite intricate designs. At the end of the book is a gallery with work of the author. A useful book for textile artists who want to incorporate floral 3D elements into their work.
