Trish Preston is a sewing pattern designer and lover of old, rusty, interesting, colorful, and eclectic stuff that most people would just throw away. She holds a bachelor of science degree in environment and natural resources and put her studies to use as a park ranger and police officer for 12 years in national, state, and municipal parks, always crafting and sewing between shifts.
She launched her successful sewing pattern line in 2010 under the label Two Peas in a Pod Homegrown Designs, and she has appeared in several international magazines as well as on the television show It’s Sew Easy. She married her handsome park ranger husband, and together they live on a pretty little piece of land in the country just outside of Columbus, Ohio, with their identical twin daughters, the Two Peas, and their youngest girl, whom they refer to as Sprout.
