Loving all things fiber has been a lifelong pursuit of Theresa Lawson. After years of dabbling in various fiber crafts, Theresa discovered and fell in love with how she could use embroidery to create masterpieces from seemingly innocuous materials. Raised in the English town of Bury St. Edmunds, Theresa moved across the world to Seattle. Here she created a portfolio of work and soon became known for her detailed and whimsical embroidered pieces. Fans of her work were particularly taken with her embroidered houses. Now working from her studio on Lummi Island, WA, Theresa creates embroidered art and patterns inspired by mountains, forests, and wildlife. themonsterslounge.com
