As early as second grade, Susan Marth's designing ability was evident to her classmates as they crowded around her desk during rainy day recesses, waiting in line for her to draft doodles for them to color. Years later, with her bachelor's degree in architectural interior design, she would draft office designs for clients in major corporate buildings in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Today Susan designs for her business, Suzn Quilts, using those same skills that she began honing at such an early age. Besides hundreds of patterns and books, Susan also designs quilting fabric and quilts for magazine publications. She attends International Quilt Market twice annually, selling to the trade. Her quilt patterns, books, and templates are being sold internationally through quilt shops, catalogs, and leading distributors.
