Pepper Cory has been a quiltmaker since 1972. She saw an antique quilt at a rummage sale, purchased the quilt for $1.00 and has been making quilts, collecting antique quilts, teaching quilting, and writing quilt books ever since. She also designs quilting and painting stencils for StenSource International, Inc.
Pepper and her husband, Rod, moved from Michigan to the Crystal Coast of North Carolina in 1996. Along with a lifelong passion for quilting, Pepper enjoys gardening, learning Tai Chi, and walking barefoot on the beach.
