Patty has been an avid quilter for more than twenty years and has always loved the look of traditional quilts. With the advent of twenty-first century sewing machines and the creative opportunities that preprogrammed machine embroideries offer, she's become passionate about incorporating these designs into her quilts, as well as showing others how to do so.
Formerly, Patty owned a quilt shop and was an associate editor of Quiltmaker magazine. Currently, she is a freelance teacher, an AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser, and a Husqvarna Viking Educator. Patty is working with Husqvarna Viking to design embroidery cards. She also has a signature line of fabrics with Erlanger Fabrics. Patty lives in Oregon.
