Linda Potter is an award-winning quilt artist and teacher who has been active in the quilting world since 1981. She has taught beginning quiltmaking classes to almost 1,000 students, has given hundreds of workshops, and travels extensively to lecture and teach her Needle Magic techniques to quilt guilds around the country. Linda has coordinatored major quilt guild shows, served as president of the Austin Area Quilt Guild, and presided over the Heartland Quilt Network. As the education coordinator for Prairie Point, a quilt store in Shawnee, Kansas, she is the driving force behind the shop's popular, technically oriented classes. She continues to take classes herself and to make and exhibit quilts.
