Leni Levenson Wiener is an art quilter and instructor who has authored three other books on art quilting. Since embarking on her art quilt journey in 2002, her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally and appears in compilation books of art quilts. She regularly contributes articles to the SAQA Journal and other quilting magazines.
In addition, Leni is actively involved with SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates). She maintains a blog and provides several services via her website, www.leniwiener.com, including assisting emerging artists in finding their voices in a service she calls "art quilt voice coaching," custom-making art quilt patterns, and selling the Art Quilter’s Value Scale.
Leni enjoys giving talks and workshops to guilds around the country. She lives just outside New York City with her husband and faithful studio assistant—the little white dog Yendrik (page 87). Her two sons are grown and living in New York.
