Great reference book
This book may be small in format but it's big on ideas and techniques. It includes the basics for playing with various techniques that could be used by quilters, fiber artists and mixed-media artists. Each technique is illustrated with lots of colorful photos which make it easy to follow along. Although this book may appear to be geared towards the beginner it should also appeal to the more experienced artist since it contains a gallery of ideas. I appreciate that the author has limited her use of products to those that are more earth friendly, clean up with soap and water and are easy to find. Most of the projects in the book can be made without spending a fortune on materials. A great reference book which I will refer to time and time again.
