Leanna Blouse

Class Description:
The Leanna Blouse is fit for intermediate sewers. The Leanna Blouse has puffed sleeves and works well with both pants and skirts, making the perfect blouse for little girls!

Class Length
It takes about 2 hours for intermediate sewers to finish this project.
It takes about 3 hours for beginners.

Classroom Preparation
Each student needs a sewing machine, and cutting and pressing station.

Class Agenda
Follow the steps on page 31-34 of Boutique Casual for Boys and Girls.

  1. Cut the fabrics.
  2. Assemble the front and back.
  3. Making and attaching the sleeves.
  4. Connect and the sleeves and side.
  5. Finishing the blouse.

 

Ranger Cargo Pants

Class Description:
The Ranger Cargo Pants is fit for intermediate sewers. These cargo pants have pockets on the front, back, and sides, allowing for lots of storage room. They can be worn for both boys and girls. The pants have two front patch pockets, two back patch pockets, and two side pockets.

It takes about 3 hours for intermediate sewers to finish this project.
It takes about 4 hours for beginners to finish this project.

Class Supply List

  • Required text: Boutique Casual for Boys and Girls by Sue Kim
  • 1 1/8" yard 44" wide fabric or 7/8 yard 58" wide fabric for pants
  • 7/8" yard 44" wide fabric or 5/8" yard 58" wide fabric for shorts
  • 4 buttons (3/4"/18mm) or snaps

  5. Assembling the long/short cargo pants
  6. Making the casing and attaching the waistband
  7. Inserting the elastic
  8. Finishing the long/short cargo pants

 

The Cropped Pants with Cuffs

Class Description:
The Cropped Pants with Cuffs is fit for beginner sewers. The Cropped Pants with Cuffs brings you an easy to make pair of pants for your little boy or girl. With two back pockets, different colored cuffs, and an elastic waistband. The Cropped Pants is not only cute but extra comfy as well! Great for indoor or outdoor wear, the Cropped Pants will become your child's favorite pair of pants.

  • 1/4 44" to 58" wide lightweight or quilting weight cotton fabric for waist band and cuffs

The Heidi Dress & Blouse

Class Description
The Heidi Dress and Blouse is a pattern for beginners. Simple yet adorable! The dress is trimmed with a bias binding, making the pattern more accessible than dresses with linings or collars. The blouse is a variation of the Heidi Dress with a single wide ruffle, utilizing adorable gathers as its feature character.
