Modern Selvage Quilting Blog Tour Kickoff!
Posted by Riel Nason on May 10th 2016
Hello and welcome! I'm here today on the C&T blog to kick off the blog tour for my book Modern Selvage Quilting. I've lost track of exactly how many selvage quilts I've sewn since 2010, but I'm sure it's dozens. I've had years of practice perfecting my techniques, and I'm thrilled to share them in the book. I think anyone who is even a little bit curious about sewing with selvages will learn a lot and find at least a project or two to try in Modern Selvage Quilting. (And don't worry if you only have a few selvages saved so far, there are several projects that don't take a lot. Also, some of the projects stretch a small selvage collection into something larger and fabulous!)
But you don't have to take my word for it! On the blog tour, you can see what these wonderful quilters have to say. (I am excited to find out too). The complete schedule is below.
May 10 Riel (Me!) at C&T Publishing Blog
May 11 Cindy at Live a Colorful Life
May 12 Yvonne at Quilting Jetgirl
May 13 Diane at Butterfly Threads Quilting
May 16 Krista at Poppyprint
May 17 Casey at The Studiolo
May 18 Leanne at She Can Quilt
May 19 Sandy at Upstairs Hobby Room
May 20 Mel at The Quilting Room with Mel
May 21 Riel (Me!) at The Q and the U
You'll also have a chance to enter to win a copy of the book at each blog tour stop, so the more blogs you visit, the more chances you have to win! Thanks for touring with me. And remember to save your selvages!
