Making Connections Blog Hop Kickoff!

Hello and welcome everyone!! I am SO excited to kick off my blog hop for Making Connections—A Free-Motion Quilting Workbook! This is indeed a celebration of a dream come true: the opportunity to share my quilting passion and design tips with so many fellow quilters.
I began longarm quilting over fifteen years ago and started teaching shortly after that. Developing a strategy for continuous designs was my obsession, and my book is the result of this years-long journey.
Making Connections is workbook-driven. It is laid out in a landscape orientation, which makes it easier for both right- and left-handed people to practice the designs. There are incremental steps given that will teach you the different strategies for planning your path around a block.
I have a fabulous list of bloggers who will be joining me on this inspiring journey. They will be showing you examples of projects that have been quilted on both longarm quilting machines and domestic sit-down machines. Follow along as they share what they have learned and how they have applied these techniques to their projects
