Welcome to Part 2 of Kim Diehl’s Simple Double-Dipped Mystery Holiday Stitch-Along! Read below to find directions for cutting and piecing fabric.
TABLE RUNNER
- Select the remainder of cream squares and the red and green patchwork sets from Part 1: you’ll have 12 cream 3" squares, six green 6 1⁄4" squares, and six red 1 1⁄2" × 10" strips.
- Referring to the Raising the Roof project in your Simple Double-Dipped Quilts book, follow “Piecing the
Fractured Half-Square-Triangle Block,” steps 1–6 beginning
on page 52, to piece six green blocks with red center strips.

- Select the remainder of the cream squares and the red andgreen patchwork sets from Part 1: you’ll have 36 cream 3" squares, 18 green 6 1⁄4" squares, and 18 red 1 1⁄2" × 10" strips.
- Referring to the Raising the Roof project in your Simple Double-Dipped Quilts book, follow “Piecing the Fractured Half-Square-Triangle Block,” steps 1–6 beginning on page 52, to piece 18 green blocks with red center strips.
