Jump into Patchwork and Quilting Virtual Book Tour

I'm so excited to share my debut book Jump into Patchwork and Quilting with the world, and I'm thrilled that some of the best quilters and designers in the industry are taking part in my book tour! I know they have been working hard behind the scenes to make projects from the book, and I can't wait to see their own versions and share them with you.

But first, a bit about me. I am a British modern quilter who is passionate about everything sewing and quilting. I love fresh, bright colours, bold prints, and cute motifs. Nothing makes me happier than cutting up fabric and sewing it back together again. Putting a modern twist on traditional blocks is one of my favourite things to do. I also love to teach and inspire people all over the world to take up quilting.

Jump into Patchwork and Quilting is a beginner quilting book containing everything you need to know to get started. From cutting squares, making half-square triangles, using the flip and stitch method, and strip piecing, you will learn a new technique with each project. The final project, the Cherished Sampler Quilt, combines all of these skills to create a beautiful sampler patchwork quilt.

As well as the projects, I share detailed information on tools and equipment, fabric, colour, basting, quilting, and binding. This is a go-to book for any beginner quilter to set you on the path to quilting confidence.

And so to the book tour! It kicks off on Monday 14th November over on the C&T Publishing blog, and Instagram page, @ctpublishing, and some of the top designers in the industry will share their makes and reviews for two weeks. Finally, it will end with a giveaway on my Instagram page, @sarahashfordstudio, to win a hard copy of the book and some batting, kindly supplied by Hobbs Bonded Fibres.
