Create holiday cards embellished with embroidery to add some handmade to your holidays with Creative Spark’s new course: Hand Stitched Holiday Cards! Stitching enthusiast Christina Cameli is a prolific quilting author, pattern and fabric designer, and a fun online workshop instructor. With an array of lovely and lighthearted designs to choose from, Christina shows you the way to customize holiday greetings. Print any combination of designs from the library of 24 cards, then embellish with your favorite colors and threads. Use the designs as many times as you like. You'll even learn how to make your own envelopes for a truly special bit of cheer.

Ombré fabrics are gradient fabrics full of color that look almost too perfect to cut. Elevate your confidence when deciding to combine various colorways and cutting plans with our course, Boost Your Color Confidence: Ombré Table Runner Project. Jennifer Sampou, our resident expert on all things ombré, is an author, teacher, pattern designer, and fabric designer. Her popular ombré fabric line, SKY, has inspired many of her patterns and projects, including her book Ombré Quilts.
Make your Dream Holiday Quilt!
The Birds in Toyland quilt is playful, whimsical, and maybe a bit mischievous. These birds have personality! Make the whole quilt or choose the blocks you like best to make smaller projects like pillows, wall quilts, table toppers, and more. During the course, Becky Goldsmith will teach you how to master wool hand-appliqué and needle-turn hand-appliqué. Spark joy as you embellish your Birds in Toyland projects with sequins, beads, ribbons, and trim to make your quilt bright and sparkly.
Birds in Toyland is not just a self-directed course. When you sign up, you will access the first two chapters of the course and then meet LIVE on Zoom with Becky (Each Meet-up is about 1 hour). Bring your questions, show your progress, celebrate the sewing! These meetings will be recorded for those who can’t join at that time. The next few Zoom Meet-ups are on the following Thursdays at 12 pm PDT: December 2 and December 16. Access to course content will be available for one year.
