Cosplay Meetups at Destination Cosplay Area

Head to Booth #1230 and get a big group photoshoot with fellow fans during Cosplay Meetups presented by FanPowered Press! A variety of fandom-focused meetups will be scheduled and taking place in Destination Cosplay on the Show Floor. Make a new friend and geek out – where cosplay and friendship collide! 

Maker Academy Workshops & even more happenings at #RCCC

Beverly Downen, author of Cosplayer’s Ultimate Guide to EVA Foam, will be a cosplay guest and a Maker Academy Workshop host. At Maker Academy, she has an axe prop craft-along, a crash course on crafting with thermoplastics, and more workshops on working with EVA foam. Her cosplay community, SheProp, will have a booth in Destination Cosplay. (SheProp is a cosplay community designed to support female, non-binary, and transgender cosplayers, artists, and makers of all skill levels.)

Chad and Sammy of Hoku Props, co-authors of Armor Up! Thermoplastics, are also joining the Maker Academy guest roster. They will teach airbrushing, weathering techniques, and faux metal painting.
