Get Started in Leather Crafting

An incredible upside to expanding the topics we cover at C&T Publishing is learning about all new crafts. I love leather accessories and the look of leather accents in my home, but I have never done leatherwork before.
Leather crafting doesn't cross over with my other craft supplies, and I wouldn't know where to start... until Amy Glatfelter's Leather Craft came along!
This book is perfect for the true beginner. The thoughtful purpose behind the book is to allow beginners to try working with leather in the easiest and most affordable way possible!
Amy puts together a basic beginner's toolset that will allow you to create all of the beautiful projects in the book. Those projects were developed to use small pieces of leather and build the skills that Amy shares in a thorough (but not overwhelming) basic technique section.
If you love leather crafting (which I suspect I will!), you'll be set to build on this book's foundation, adding to your physical and technique tool kit and taking it to the next level. Of course, that might take some time. There is so much in this book to explore and so many projects to try first!
