Finding the Perfect Wool for Your Project

I dye most of my own wool but I also like the challenge of finding a great wool skirt at a thrift store or a garage sale and giving it a new purpose. I get all my black backgrounds that way, in addition to other interesting colors. Make sure the garment has a 100% wool tag on it. There are now many places you can also buy felted wool on the internet and in quilt shops. Enjoy the hunt!
