Empty That Scrap Basket!

Amanda Nyberg’s new book is called No Scrap Left Behind but as you get into in it, you’ll soon see that it could also have been be named Empty That Scrap Basket.
Amanda says:
“I used to have the theory that smaller scraps are great for small projects and small quilts. For this collection of quilts, however, I pushed further and dug deeper. I wanted to explore how small scraps work in bigger quilts. It takes a little more tenacity and a lot more time, but it also puts a larger dent in the scrap bin.”
There are 16 projects made from scraps ranging from strings such as Slopes (don’t you just love the scrappy strings that go all the way across the quilt?)...
to triangles like Chain of Diamonds...
to snippets, as in Ring Me...
There are also smaller projects such as these adorable pincushions.
So dig out your scraps and get stitching.
