Searching for Beauty Quilt: Unexpected Inspiration
The Searching for Beauty quilt is a reflection of Becky Goldsmith’s early response to the pandemic. While coping with the changes in all our lives, she searched for beauty and found inspiration in the shape of the virus itself. She happily offers the pattern and videos for FREE as her contribution to helping quilters create a memory quilt for this crazy time in our lives.
Bullseye Quilts from Vintage to Modern
Learn the Bullseye Quilt pattern and create your own impressive quilt with Becky Goldsmith! The Bullseye Quilt is a perfect design when it comes to playing with color. Becky shows you how the colors and values in each ring work together to create an exciting quilt. The class covers the Center Circle, Ring 1, Ring 2, and the Corners that form the block in the 9-block quilt. Once you see how it's done, you will be ready to choose the fabric for your quilt with confidence.
Stars & Pines: An English Paper Piecing Class
This class, for all skill levels, starts with printing and cutting your own English Paper Piecing (EPP) papers which opens up major design possibilities. You will learn how to change the colors and values in the star blocks to achieve a different look. The trees don't have to be trees - change the colors and the center becomes a whirling center medallion. You will go on to learn how to baste your fabric to the papers, sew them together with one of three kinds of stitches, and how to hold your sewing (which is more important than you might think.) Whether you create the included project or add these skills to another EPP project, you will be able to confidently piece anything.
