Amazingly Simple Triangle Stars Blog Tour Kickoff!
Posted by Barbara H. Cline on Apr 25th 2016
I am super excited to share with you my fourth book that C&T has published for me. Just a little background on the other three books... Star Stuck Quilts is a book on stars, Simply Triangles has quilts which create stars, pinwheels, and daisies in a triangle block layout, Diamond Chain Quilts has quilts with diamonds running throughout the quilts, and now my fourth book, Amazingly Simple Triangle Stars, is about one-block quilts.
As you journey through the book there are "new technique" features. You will learn techniques for value, color, stacking fabrics, and negative space.
From this quilt, Starry Lights, you will learn how negative space is created.
Here is a sample picture of how quilting can emphasize the piecing aspect of the quilt.
I've invited a great group of bloggers and companies to participate in the tour, and each will be giving away a copy of my book at their stop. Visit my blog and the others on the tour. I think that you'll have fun learning more about the nine projects and techniques in the book.
