A Quilted Tribute to Iznik Ceramics

Tamsin Harvey has created a wild and varied Baltimore Album-style quilt in her tribute to Iznik ceramics and the women of the Ottoman Empire. Each block of the Iznik Garden Quilt is named for one of the women who belonged to the imperial harem and includes a brief history about her.
While the pattern focuses on recreating the whole quilt, there are many ideas for other projects you can create, using various motifs from the many blocks, including a purse, clutch, and pouch.
Or, you could make one block into a feature pillow.
With the clear instructions on how to appliqué the motifs, and the multitude of designs, the only problem is deciding what you want to make!
