Betsy Olmsted is the artist behind her eponymous textile design company, and her collections are available in top boutiques, stores, and museum shops nationwide. Luxury goods, crafting fabrics, and children’s décor can be found through her licensing partners, including Guildery, Clothworks, Oopsy Daisy, and Deny Designs, to name a few. Her expertise in printing and repeat making was founded by a Master of Science in Textiles from Philadelphia University, and she is eager to share her passion with her fans.
As a lover of life, Betsy enjoys tending her garden while snail hunting with her boys and laughing about the pesky neighborhood rodents. Cooking with local, seasonal foods is a passion, as well as entertaining and creating quirky party atmospheres. As a clumsy yoga dabbler, she reminisces about her adventures in India and other curious places. Vintage furniture can sometimes become an obsession, and magazines and books abound in her house. She adores animals and fantasizes about the day when she will have a Swiss cow as a family pet. The Betsy Olmsted studio is located in historic downtown Lancaster, PA, where Betsy turns her inspirations into colorfully whimsical designs.
